Katsa has bought a Studer S41 cylindrical grinding machine for shafts. Its centre distance is 1600 mm, centre height 225 mm and maximum workpiece weight 300 kg. Machine has also internal grinding head. 

This investments boosts Katsa’s capacity and enables production for more demanding shafts. It also shortens lead time by improving Katsa’s in-house capabilities for heavier gear pinions. This grinding machine will arrive to Katsa in week 22/2018.
