Katsa`s new remote system KAre has had a successful product launch and market introduction at the BAUMA 2019 in Munich. The presentations got a positive feedback and Katsa´s team had interesting and promising discussions with customers from different market sectors about possible implementation in their applications. Especially Katsa´s approach of keeping the investment as well as the running costs of the system at a significantly lower level than comparable systems was well noted. Also the modular configuration, which can be easily adapted to customers real needs is highly appreciated.
At the moment the development process is entering the next stages with first customer demonstrations projects being installed and tested. The feedback and experience of these projects is essential for further improving the complete system including hardware and software. We are confident that we will be able to start active sales and first deliveries in the beginning of the 4th quarter of this year.
Starting with the price of 1750 EUR for an entry level remote system with e.g. 5 temperatures and 1 pressure sensors. The system enables essential monitoring of a high number of assets for relatively low costs. On the other hand the full scale machine monitoring system including up to 12 temperature, 2 pressure, 1 oil quality, 2 speed sensors and up to 4 channel vibration monitoring is starting at only 7000 EUR. With the configurable CANbus integration the system can easily be used also for gathering information already available in CANbus system of the asset, e.g. diesel engine performance data. All gathered data will be easily accessible and prepared for further analysis at the KAre IoT platform.
