Capabilities Modern Machinery Katsa has been always known for its modern production machinery. Our machinery covers all production phases, from the sawing of the blank up to the final inspection. An overview of the current main machines is as follows: • Gear Cutting machines up to Ø 1600 mm • Heat Treatment - Ipsen Case Hardening furnaces up to 5000 kg • Grinding - Kehren grinding machines up to Ø 1500 mm • Gear Grinding - Gleason Pfauter profile grinding machines up to Ø 1600 mm - Reishauer RZ 1000 up to Ø 1000 mm and M10 - Balancing up to 5000 kg and Ø 1600 mm • Final Inspection - Klingelnberg measuring machines P100 and P150 - Magnetic particle & ultrasonic inspections - Barkhausen grinding burning inspection - Co-operation with any class society for on-site classification (eg. DNV, ABS, etc..)
