Within the past few years Katsa has made a strategical decision to start implementing the wide expertise from land-based applications in Clutch- and PTO gearbox demands in Marine sector.
Katsa´s approach to this challenge on the gearbox manufacturer´s point of view is to develop semi-standard, high modularity Power-Take-Off gearbox solutions, which may easily be adapted to project related requirements.

At SMM 2018 exhibition, Hamburg, Katsa will be launching the new L350 PTO Gearbox solutions for Marine market. Demonstration product at SMM is the L350 Hybrid Concept which is designed to fit Diesel- and Electric motors smoothly in to Vessel´s propulsion driveline. Katsa´s Hybrid solution brings a new approach for driveline specifiers, for example possibilities to optimize the Diesel-engine, silent trolling and minimized exhaust emissions inside harbour areas.
