Katsa Electric Drivetrain Transmissions 

 

Based on decades of drivetrain gearbox experience Katsa has developed a new series of smart and compact transmission solutions for electric vehicles. Product range includes L200 Series 2-speed transmission as well as transfer gearboxes for multi-wheeled vehicles.   

L200 Series 2-speed transmission technology provides superior performance in all driving conditions and allows to select an affordable, optimally sized electric motor to bring the highest efficiency for your electric vehicle. Electric motor can be directly integrated to the gearbox and aluminium housing material ensures the whole package becomes compact and lightweight. 

 

 

 

 

 

L200 Series Technical Specification 

  • Input Electric Motor Power up to 400 kW  
  • Input Connection: Integrated SAE 3 Flange or Customized Shaft Connection 
  • Two Speeds with Ratios:  
    • 1st Gear 2 – 4 : 1 
    • 2nd Gear 1 : 1 
  • Output Torque up to 10 000 Nm 
  • Output Connection: Driveshaft Flanges SAE – XS – DIN or Customized Shaft Connection 
  • Integrated Oil-Pump with Pressure Lubrication 
  • Aluminium Lightweight Housing 

 

In addition to L200 Series, Katsa has available 2AL250 Series single-speed transfer gearbox with 500mm centre distance and concept for 2-speed transfer gearbox with 400mm centre distance.

Both have possibility for front- and rear directional outputs optimized for multi-wheeled vehicles and include all smart design features as L200 series.
